Come enjoy the incredible historic marine watercolor paintings by renowned Bellingham artist Steve Mayo. You can meet Steve when the show opens during an ArtWalk reception September 7, 6 – 9pm.
This year we will be one of the participating venues in Seafeast 2018. Steve will also be joining us for the opening evening festivities of SeaFeast, Friday, September 21, 6pm – 9pm. In this exhibit we combine mirrors with technology and the art of the selfie. Friday, October 5, and then again on Friday, November 2, have fun in the Selfie Photo Booth at FCF, then send us your selfie via email. We will go through all the submitted selfies on November 5, then post the winners on our website and Facebook page.
Thirteen women. One purpose. Join us for an opening reception on November 16 from 6 – 8pm and meet theses amazing local artists. Their works range from the traditional to the avant-garde, from fiber to clay and all mediums in between. Like the oceans these women are “Rising”. Exhibits runs through December 31, 2018
“Rising” will continue throughout the month of December.
Artist’s Choice 2019 – Photography Edition
Join us February 1, 6pm – 9pm, for an ArtWalk reception. This show will hang in the gallery through February 23.
Featuring works by Kathleen Eva Houlahan (1887 -1964). Born in Manitoba, Canada, she move to Seattle where she graduated from University of Washington in 1906. She went on to study at the Art Student’s League in New York with Robert Henri and K. H Miller, then at the Sorbonne in Paris where she studied with C. W. Hawhtorne. Returning to Seattle in 1923 she went on to paint outdoor scenes, portraits, still lives, and industrial scenes.
A feast for the eyes, full of gastronomical delights, or to put it more commonly, a show about food. Featuring works by Dedrian Clark, Erin Libby, Joy Olney, Nick Payne, and Elizabeth Wonnacut.
